Birthdays and Baptism

Alexis turned 11 this year. It is hard to believe that she is almost 12 and we will soon have a mutual age child. We had a small party and she was lucky to have Grandma, Jon and the Gardners come to help us celebrate.
Alexis is now old enough to babysit and we have had a lot of discussions about responsibility and respect. My girls have a favorite babysitter and every time I leave the house with Lexie in charge I tell her "remember, you are Sherry". So far she has done awesome!
Alexis will be in Middle School next year and I know she will do awesome. She has a fun easy going personality and when is comes to her social life she is wise beyond her years.

Natalie turned 8 this year and she was so excited to be baptized. Her birthday was on Wednesday so she actually got to have a little family birthday party with cake and presents and then go to Activity Day Girls, which she was so excited about.

Then on Saturday the 4th of June Natalie made the choice to be baptized. There were so many family members and friends who came to support her in this step and we are so thankful for all of you. She is an amazing young lady and we are so proud of the person she is becoming.

After her baptizm we came back to the house for a get together. It was so wonderful to have so many of our family members here to visit and to celebrate with us. The kids had a great time and after it was all over I kicked myself for not taking more pictures. :)
