Fun Changes

Over the past week or so we have been rearranging and redecorating the girls rooms. Natalie and Ava are now sharring a room and Ava has officially upgraded to a "big girl" bed. Maurnee came down and helped paint their room and with new pink bedding it is now the pretty pink "girl" room that Natalie has always wanted. Getting to redecorate was fun but I would never wish pinstripes on anyone. :)

On Tuesday I spent most of the day rearranging dressers and going through the girls clothes. It is amazing the memories that are attached to our clothes. It was fun to get to see an outfit that all three girls have worn and remember each of them at that age. Ava found this out fit and insisted on wearing it for the rest of the day.

(Yes, this outfit does have pants but she had no interest in them.)

We had our Fun

Ok, as those of you who have been to our blog in the past week know, we are expecting a baby in October. We decided to announced it using our blog because we thought it would be fun to see who actually visits our blog. Well, we had our fun and we hope that we didn't offend any of you. Don't worry, we did not plan on showing up in the fall with a baby without letting our loved ones know that it was to be expected. :) Plus, those of you that have seen Char at 8 months pregnant know that she is not to be missed. Anyway, we would love you to share our happy news with those that have yet discoved our post. Thanks for your patience.

Ren's research

Well I was spending some time with my friend Ren while our wives were having a girls day out in Portland. And he has been doing some research and study for some upcoming interviews, and came across this file on his computer. After much thought and from having read our most recent post about lexie being bossy, he figured I better give this to Char, because the modeling that she is providing was a bad influence on the girls (you know being bossy and all). I showed it to her, got a lecture, and now I am trying to get Ren in trouble. Here was his profound wisdom. click on the image to read.

My wonderful Lexie

You know those books that the teachers get you to buy because it will make your child a "published" author, well we just got Lexie's and here is her story. "If I could trade places with anyone, I would trade places with the President. I would trade places with the President because I want to have the teachers be kids and the kids be the teachers. I want to make it so I could boss my mom and dad around. I would wear blue pants and a blue shirt. I will still live in Harrisburg, I would drive a Limo"

I know I don't boss her around that much, at least I didn't think I did. So maybe I need to have a heart to heart with Char.

Here is a picture of Lexie amongst the masses of supporters hoping she wins the GOP nod, (I know it's the GOP nod since she already told me she is against Hillary Clinton since she will raise her taxes) she's the one waving
